I’m honored to be part of the brilliant talent collaborative, including Damion Clark, Roshni Datta, Tim Holt Jones, Justin Lopez, Cynthia Roberts, director Timothy Beagley, artistic director Katina Letheule, and technical specialist Simon Liu, bringing you Altarena Playhouse’s free live streaming event, Standing on Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays, Thursday, February 25th, and Friday, February 26th at 7pm PST.
This roughly 70-minute anthology of short plays and sketches by writers Mo Gaffney, Jordan Harrison, Moises Kaufman, Wendy MacLeod, Jose Rivera, and Paul Rudnick offers “a unique take on the moments before, during, and after saying ‘I do.’ Witty, warm, and occasionally wacky, these plays are vows to the blessings of equality, the universal challenges of relationships, and the often hilarious power of love.”
Tickets are free, and can be reserved online here. Donations are greatly appreciated and welcome! Virtual lobby opens at 6:45pm PST, and you can live chat with others before or during the show by logging into your YouTube account. Hope you’re able to join us!
